Goods in the cart do not need to be paid for right away — they can be held as a named order and returned to later, for example while a client is deciding or an order is being put together in parts.
- Add goods to the cart — the cart icon at the top of the screen.
- There is no separate "Hold" button — just close the cart any way you like (the X, swiping down, or tapping outside): if it has items in it, the order holds itself, gets a number, and appears as a colored chip under the catalog.
- To return to the order — tap its chip: the items go back into the cart, and you can add more goods.
- Made a change — just close the cart the same way again: the changes sync to the same order, a new one is not created.
- An order can be renamed (for example, "Vasya's Table") — that makes it easier to recognize among the numbers when there are several held orders.
- Optionally link a client to the order (wallet icon in the cart header → "Link") — this is just a reference mark on the chip, it does not affect the payment method.
- When it is time to settle up — open the order and click "Pay" (a separate button, not to be confused with closing the cart), choose the method (Cash/Non-Cash/Balance) or "Split Payment".
What to Do If… #
…a held order ended up with an extra item or the wrong quantity? Open the order by tapping its chip, adjust the items in the cart as usual, and close it — the changes sync to the same order.
…you need to delete a held order entirely? Open it by tapping its chip, empty the cart completely, and close it with the same X — since the cart is empty while editing the order, the system takes that as a decision to delete it, and returns the stock that was deducted.
…you have built up a lot of orders and they are getting confusing? Rename the important ones — the chip color and creation time are unique per order too, but a name is remembered faster than a number.
