How to Make a Collection

A collection is when you physically take money off a point. Record it in the app so zone tills reset to zero and you can see how much money should remain on hand.

1. Open "Money" → "Balances and Collections".
2. Choose the point, if you have more than one.
3. Click "Add Collection".
4. Choose the method: "By Till" — if you are collecting a specific till (zone, "Abonements" or "Goods") separately; "General" — if you just took the overall amount without splitting by till — the system will split it proportionally across balances automatically.
5. Enter the amount, save.

What to Do If… #

…you took more money than the zone balances show? This happens, for example, if you collect yesterday's and today's till together. The system sets the excess aside as a "Collection Advance" — it settles itself automatically after the zone's next results submission.

…you got the amount wrong? Find the entry in the "Collections Register" — correct it with the icon or delete it (the zone balance will recalculate).
