Staff: How to Submit Results for the "Counters" Zone

The "Counters" section on the staff member's home screen tracks returns and test launches between submissions — the readings themselves are entered later, at results submission.

  1. If "Session Tracking" (tap-assist) is turned on for the zone — on the "Counters" screen you will see an asset grid instead of manual entry: tap an asset, choose a rate (if there is more than one) and a payment method (Cash/Non-Cash/Balance) or "Split Payment", confirm "Confirm?". The tile's counter increases by itself.
  2. If tap-assist is off — only "Return/Test" (mark a free/test launch, no amount) and "Charge to Balance" (paying for a purchase from a client's balance) are available on this screen.
  3. In "History", a marked tap can be reconsidered: "Mark as Return/Test" or back to "Remove Return/Test Mark" — switchable at any time before results submission.
  4. When it is time to submit results — click "Submit Results" on the home screen.
  5. Choose the zones that operated today.
  6. For each zone: if tap-assist is on — readings are calculated automatically; if not — tap each asset and enter the current counter reading (0–9999).
  7. Below, enter "Cash" and "Non-Cash" — the zone's actual till.
  8. Check the "Difference" on the review screen and click "Submit Results".

What to Do If… #

…a reading is lower than the previous one? A warning about the counter rolling over past 9999 will appear — that is not an error, just double-check the number; you can still submit as is.

…an asset is "under repair"? Its reading cannot be changed — the last value is kept, there is nothing to enter.

…there is no internet at the moment of submission? The app will show "Saved, will send once connected" — the data stays on the device and goes to the server by itself as soon as a connection appears.

…the server rejected a delayed submission once connection appeared? This is rare, but the data is lost in that case — the app will report that sending failed, and the submission will need to be entered again.

…the Difference is not zero? That does not block submission — you can submit results with any difference, it just shows whether there is a discrepancy with the till.
