How to Create a Zone and Choose an Accounting Mode

A zone is a separate group of assets at a point: for example, "Electric Cars" or "Trampolines". Each zone has its own set of rates and its own way of calculating revenue — you choose it once, when creating the zone.

1. Open the point you need and go to the "Zones" section.
2. Click "New Zone".
3. Enter a name (for example, "Electric Cars") and choose an icon.
4. Choose an accounting mode:
   • Counters — the devices have real meters installed, and the staff member manually enters their readings during results submission.
   • Launches — the staff member taps the asset each time a ride starts, and the system counts them automatically.
   • Cash only — there are no rates or assets at all, the staff member just submits the cash amount.
   • Stays — for play rooms: the staff member starts and stops the timer the moment a child enters and leaves.
   • Tickets — ticket sales by order, with or without redemption at entry.
5. Save the zone.

After that, add rates and assets — the method depends on the mode you chose: "Counters", "Launches", "Stays" or "Tickets" — the "Cash only" mode has no rates or assets at all.

What to Do If… #

…you made a mistake with the accounting mode? As long as the zone has not had a single results submission yet, you can change the mode at any time: zone menu → "Change Accounting Mode". After the first submission — you cannot, this protects against data confusion.
