A zone is a separate group of assets at a point: for example, "Electric Cars" or "Trampolines". Each zone has its own set of rates and its own way of calculating revenue — you choose it once, when creating the zone.
- Open the point you need and go to the "Zones" section.
- Click "New Zone".
- Enter a name (for example, "Electric Cars") and choose an icon.
- Choose an accounting mode:
- Counters — the devices have real meters installed, and the staff member manually enters their readings during results submission.
- Launches — the staff member taps the asset each time a ride starts, and the system counts them automatically.
- Cash only — there are no rates or assets at all, the staff member just submits the cash amount.
- Stays — for play rooms: the staff member starts and stops the timer the moment a child enters and leaves.
- Tickets — ticket sales by order, with or without redemption at entry.
- Save the zone.
After that, add rates and assets — the method depends on the mode you chose: "Counters", "Launches", "Stays" or "Tickets" — the "Cash only" mode has no rates or assets at all.
What to Do If… #
…you made a mistake with the accounting mode? As long as the zone has not had a single results submission yet, you can change the mode at any time: zone menu → "Change Accounting Mode". After the first submission — you cannot, this protects against data confusion.
…not sure which mode to choose? Real meters on the console — "Counters". Rides marked by the staff member manually — "Launches". A kids play room with hourly pricing — "Stays".
