How to Change an Asset's Photo, Starting Reading, or Delete It

Besides its name and rate set on creation, each asset has additional actions in its menu.

1. Open the zone → the asset you need → menu ().
2. "Starting Reading" ("Counters" mode only) — set the counter's current value if the asset was already in use before connecting RentOS: from the next submission, sessions will be counted from this number instead of zero.
3. Asset photo — in the same place.
4. "Delete" — permanent; for an asset that is broken but only temporarily out of use, deactivating is better than deleting (see "How to Add Rates and Assets for the 'Counters' Mode" — it also describes how to deactivate an asset without losing its history).

What to Do If… #

…an asset already has real submissions, and you are editing the starting reading? The system will warn you: the edit will recalculate the revenue of the very first submission (it is used as the starting point), later submissions are not affected.
